ABOUT THE COURSE:

The term ‘Human factors’ refers to the principles which apply to aeronautical products, certification, training, operations, and maintenance whilst seeking to ensure a safe interface between a human and machine by paying due consideration to human performance.

To reduce the impact of human factors, it is highly important to ensure that all the processes involved in the maintenance of aeronautical products are analyzed and any procedural requirements are adhered to at all times.

OBJECTIVES:

Improve the level of awareness related to Human Factors

Enhance the understanding of Human Performance issues related to aircraft maintenance activities.

Understand the nature of Human Error;

Identify and predict potential maintenance Human Error;

Reduce human error working under the stress and fatigue;

Be able to identify the contamination sources, materials, cleaning and protection procedures.

Identify strategies for reducing or controlling maintenance Human Error;

Adopt a credible, non-punitive policy toward human error (not violations);

Identify threats and deal with them before they become errors;

Conduct investigations for individuals involved mishaps or other incidents;

Develop effective risk management practices.

TIME REQUIRED:

16 Hours (1-2 Days)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluent Aviation Technical English

Post-holders, managers, supervisors; Certifying staff, support staff and mechanics;

EXAMINATION

During the HF online training course, interactive questions are asked, seeking that student better understand the course material.

No Examination will be held.

COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of the HF (aviation) online training course (100%), participants will receive an online training certificate issued by Part-147 approved Engineering Training Organization (ETO).
