This California Privacy Notice applies to California residents who are visitors/users (“you”) of https://vlearn.airvistara.com . California Privacy Notice is intended to supplement the Privacy Policy- Vistara E-Learning available at https://vlearn.airvistara.com/privacy-policy-2/

To the extent this California Privacy Notice conflicts with the Privacy Policy- Vistara E-Learning, this California Privacy Notice will take precedence. We provide this California Privacy Notice in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act, 2018 (“CCPA”) and its regulations, as amended.

TSAL is a company registered under the laws of India, having registered office at Jeevan Bharti Tower 1, 10th Floor, 124 Connaught Circus, New Delhi- 110001, India, and Corporate Office at Intellion Edge, Tower A, 9th & 10th Floor, South Peripheral Road, Sector – 72, Gurgaon, Haryana-122101, India. We are engaged in the business of operating, managing, and providing scheduled air transport services under the brand name ‘Vistara’.

TSAL collects, uses, and discloses Visitors/Users Data (as defined below) to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient, and customized experience with our website. The collection, use, and disclosure of Visitors/Users Data enable us to enroll and conduct training and issue course completion certificates that are most likely to meet your needs and requirements. This California Privacy Notice outlines TSAL's policy and responsibility about the collection, use, and disclosure of Visitors/Users Data.

The CCPA provides California residents ("you" or "your") with the following rights, including the right to (i) request information about the personal information we have collected about you; and (ii) request information about our sale or disclosure for business purposes of your personal information to third parties.

TSAL is not engaged in selling of Visitors/Users Data.

1.   WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We collect Visitors/Users Data from you directly:

Personal Data we collect from you may include name, date of birth, place of birth, govt ID, sponsoring organization, etc are being collected through the registration page being filled up by the candidate him/herself.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will use the Visitors/Users Data in the following ways:

  • For evaluating the candidature

  • For training purposes including as mandated by DGCA and/or EASA

  • For comply with various regulations issued by DGCA and EASA, from time to time, etc

  • For complying with legal requirements (including that of DGCA and EASA) and for corporate governance.

  • For any other legitimate purpose in connection with the training and/or candidature.

With your consent where required by applicable laws, we will use your Visitors/Users Data to: Issue certificates.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at dpo@airvistara.com.

3.  RIGHT TO KNOW

You have the right to request that we disclose what Visitors/Users Data we collect, use, disclose and sell. You also have the right to request the specific pieces of Visitors/Users Data we have collected about you, as well as information about our sale or disclosure for business purposes of your Visitors/Users Data to third parties. Once we receive, verify, and confirm your request, we will endeavor to disclose to you the information to your Visitors/Users Data that you have requested.

4.  RIGHT TO DELETE

You have the right to request the deletion of any of your Visitors/Users Data that we have collected from you and retained. Please note that this is a limited right as we may be able to retain certain Visitors/Users Data subject to an exception under the CCPA or another lawful obligation. Once we receive, verify, and confirm your request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your Visitors/Users Data from our records unless an exception applies.

5.  RIGHT TO NON-DISCRIMINATION

You have the right to not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. In this regard, TSAL will not:

  • deny you any services.

  • charge different prices or rates for the services.

  • provide a different level of quality of services; or

  • suggest different rates or levels of quality of services.

6.  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If you are a California resident, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits you to make a request, once in a calendar year, for information regarding the disclosure of your Visitors/Users Data to third parties for those third parties direct marketing purposes. To make this request, please submit a request via email at dpo@airvistara.com.

7.  HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR CCPA PRIVACY RIGHTS

To exercise your rights under the CCPA, please submit a request via email at dpo@airvistara.com. We may need you to provide additional information to verify your request, such as providing certain data elements so that we can confirm they match the personal information already maintained by us. We will not use this additional information for anything other than handling your request. You may designate an authorized agent to request in certain circumstances on your behalf. Such authorized agent must be registered with the California Secretary of State.

We will endeavor to fulfill your request within 45 days of receiving that request. If we require additional time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

You will not be charged any amount for making the request and will be provided verified information. The information provided to you against your request shall be limited to the duration of the preceding period of 12 months of the business’s receipt of the verifiable request.

The information shall be made in writing and delivered through your account with TSAL. In case, you do not maintain an account with us then the same shall be sent via post or electronic mail at your option.
